Evaporative Emission Control Canister: Description and Operation
Fuel Evaporation Components
PURPOSE
The charcoal canister is stores fuel tank vapors until they can be routed to the intake manifold for reburning.
LOCATION
The canister is mounted on the left side of the engine compartment.
