The '93 Corolla Repair Manual procedure contains the following instructions for installing the Rear Suspension No. 2 Lower Arm (reference page
SA-82):
Because several suppliers are used for the No. 2 Lower Suspension Arm, the inside direction may be identified by any of the following marks shown
below:
1.
Non-functional threads.
2.
Relief cut on rod adjustment tube.
3.
Gold colored nut.
4.
Letter "R" stamped on rod adjustment tube.
5.
Paint mark (as listed in Repair Manual).
