Steering Gear: Service and Repair
Removal and Installation

1.

Disconnect solenoid connector, then remove universal joint.

2.

Position a suitable container to catch fluid, then disconnect pressure and return lines.

3.

Disconnect tie rod ends from steering knuckles, then remove steering damper.

4.

Remove gear housing assembly bracket set bolts.

5.

Remove gear housing, then separate grommets from gear housing.

6.

Reverse procedure to install.
