Air/Fuel Mixture: Adjustments

5M-E, 5M-GE 

NOTE:  Refer to "Tune Up Specifications" chart for specified curb idle speeds.  On 5M-E and 1982 5M-GE engines, check and adjust idle speed every
24 months or 30,000 miles.  Fast idle speed on all engines, idle mixture on 5M-E and 5M-GE engines, and curb idle speed on 1983-84 5M-GE and 1984
7M-GE engines are controlled by the EFI computer and cannot be adjusted during normal service.  For engine adjustment checks on these engines, refer
to the "Electronic Fuel Injected Section."
