Remove rear axle shaft flange, brake drum or rotor and rear axle shaft. Refer to ``Axle Shaft, Bearing & Oil Seal, Replace'' procedure under Exc.
MR2 & Late 1986-88 Supra.

Disconnect brake hose, then remove dust cover (disc brakes) or backing plate (drum brakes).

Remove brake lines on suspension arm.

Position a suitable jack under suspension arm and raise suspension arm slightly.

Remove rear shock absorber lower mounting bolt and disconnect shock absorber.

9.

Slowly lower suspension arm with jack, then remove coil spring and insulators.

10.

Scribe alignment marks or note setting on camber adjusting cam, then remove suspension arm mounting bolts, camber adjusting cam and
suspension arm.

11.

Inspect suspension arm for damage, cracks and bending. Inspect arm bushing for wear, cracks or deformation. If bushings require replacement, use
tool No. 09710-22040 No. 4 and No. 5 to remove bushings and No. 5 and No. 6 to install bushings.

12.

Reverse procedure to install. Torque suspension arm inside bolt to 84-108 ft. lbs. and outside bolt to 73-97 ft. lbs. Check and adjust rear wheel
alignment as necessary.
