Damping Control Actuator: Testing and Inspection

1.

Turn ignition switch ``On,'' then place mode select switch to ``Sport'' position.

2.

Place jumper wire across service connector diagnosis connectors ``Tem'' and ``E2,'' Fig. 22.

3.

Turn ignition switch ``Off,'' then disconnect battery ground cable.

4.

Disconnect actuator connector, then remove actuator cover.

5.

Remove two actuator mounting bolts, then pull actuator from shock absorber. Pull actuator straight out as not to damage shock absorber
control rod.
