To reduce the engagement time when selecting "D" or "R" ranges after parking overnight, the following parts in the valve body have been modified.

A43DE (With ECT)

VALVE BODY

1)

Check balls and springs have been added to the torque converter circuit in the lower valve body.

2)

Due to the addition of the check balls and springs in the lower valve body, the valve body plate and the upper and lower valve body gaskets
have been modified.

Relay Valve

3)

A check ball along with relief hole has been added to the torque converter lock-up relay valve in the lower valve body.
