Remote Switch: Service and Repair
Installation
AUDIO / VISUAL: STEERING PAD SWITCH: INSTALLATION
INSTALLATION
CAUTION: Some of these service operations affect the SRS airbag system. Read the precautionary notices concerning the SRS airbag
system before servicing See: Restraint Systems/Air Bag Systems/Service Precautions.
1. INSTALL STEERING PAD SWITCH
(a) Engage the 2 claws and the pin and install the steering pad.
(b) Tighten the screw.
Torque: 2.4 Nm (24 kgf-cm, 21 in-lbf)
(c) Connect the connector.
(d) w/ Cruise Control System:
(1) Connect the cruise control switch connector.

3. INSTALL STEERING WHEEL LOWER COVER LH See: Restraint Systems/Air Bag Systems/Air Bag/Service and Repair/Steering

4. INSTALL STEERING WHEEL LOWER COVER RH See: Restraint Systems/Air Bag Systems/Air Bag/Service and Repair/Steering
Pad/Installation
5. CONNECT CABLE TO NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL
Torque: 3.9 Nm (40 kgf-cm, 35 in-lbf)
6. INSPECT SRS WARNING LIGHT
