1.

Grasp the vent register with both hands and engage the 4 clips and 2 claws and snap the vent register into place.

2.

Install the lower push type clip.

3.

Inspect the vent register to make sure all clips and claws are in the correct position and to assure that the vent register is correctly aligned to the
dash assembly.

Vent Register Installation: New Version

1.

Grasp the vent register with both hands and engage the 4 clips and 2 claws and snap the vent register into place.

2.

Install the lower push type clip.

3.

Install the vent register attaching bolt and torque the bolt to

Torque: 9 N.m (92 kgf.cm, 6.6 ft.lbf)

4.

Engage the two claws and snap the plastic trim piece (bolt cover) into the dash assembly.

5.

Inspect the vent register to make sure all the clips and claws are in the correct position and to assure that the vent register is correctly aligned to the
dash assembly.
