REMOVAL
1. DISCHARGE FUEL SYSTEM PRESSURE

2. DRAIN ENGINE COOLANT See: Engine, Cooling and Exhaust/Cooling System/Coolant/Service and Repair
3. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL
4. REMOVE V-BANK COVER See: Fuel Delivery and Air Induction/Throttle Body/Service and Repair/Removal
5. REMOVE AIR CLEANER ASSEMBLY See: Fuel Delivery and Air Induction/Throttle Body/Service and Repair/Removal
6. REMOVE THROTTLE BODY BRACKET See: Fuel Delivery and Air Induction/Fuel Injector/Service and Repair/Removal
7. REMOVE OIL BAFFLE PLATE See: Fuel Delivery and Air Induction/Fuel Injector/Service and Repair/Removal
8. REMOVE NO. 1 SURGE TANK STAY See: Fuel Delivery and Air Induction/Fuel Injector/Service and Repair/Removal
9. REMOVE NO. 2 SURGE TANK STAY See: Fuel Delivery and Air Induction/Fuel Injector/Service and Repair/Removal
10. REMOVE INTAKE AIR SURGE TANK See: Fuel Delivery and Air Induction/Fuel Injector/Service and Repair/Removal
11. DISCONNECT NO. 2 FUEL PIPE SUB-ASSEMBLY See: Fuel Delivery and Air Induction/Fuel Injector/Service and Repair/Removal
12. REMOVE ENGINE COOLANT TEMPERATURE SENSOR
(a) Disconnect the connector.
(b) Using a 19 mm deep socket wrench, remove the water temperature sensor and gasket.
