Back Window Glass: Service and Repair
Removal

WINDSHIELD / WINDOWGLASS: BACK DOOR GLASS: REMOVAL

REMOVAL

1. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL
2. REMOVE SPARE DISC WHEEL
3. REMOVE NO. 1 REAR SPOILER COVER See: Lighting and Horns/Center Mounted Brake Lamp/Service and Repair/Removal

4. REMOVE REAR SPOILER See: Body and Frame/Spoilers, Flaps, and Air Dams/Spoiler/Service and Repair/Removal

5. REMOVE BACK WINDOW SUPPORT LH See: Body and Frame/Doors, Hood and Trunk/Trunk / Liftgate/Trunk / Liftgate Shock /

Support/Service and Repair/Back Window Support/Removal

6. REMOVE BACK WINDOW SUPPORT RH

HINT: Use the same procedure as for the LH side.

7. REMOVE BACK DOOR GLASS

(a) Disconnect the 2 defogger connectors.

(b) Remove the 2 nuts and the back door glass.

8. REMOVE BACK WINDOW STAY UPPER BRACKET RH

(a) Remove the 2 screws, the retainer and the back window stay upper bracket.

9. REMOVE BACK WINDOW STAY UPPER BRACKET LH

HINT: Use the same procedure as described for the RH side.

10. REMOVE BACK WINDOW LOCK STRIKER ASSEMBLY

(a) Remove the 2 screws, the retainer and the back window lock striker.
