Introduction
Later production FJ Cruiser vehicles are equipped with a new design right-hand AC vent register, utilizing an attaching bolt and a plastic trim cover. This
TSB provides the removal and installation instructions for the new type vent register.

Removal Procedure

Vent Register Removal: Previous Version

1.

Remove the push type lower clip.

2.

Disengage the 4 clips and 2 claws and lift the vent register away from the dash.

NOTE:

To avoid damage to the register, make sure the vent louvers are in the open position when removing the vent register from the dash.
