Removal

NAVIGATION: NAVIGATION ANTENNA: REMOVAL

REMOVAL

1. PRECAUTION

 See: Body and Frame/Interior Moulding / Trim/Dashboard / Instrument Panel/Service Precautions

2. ALIGN FRONT WHEELS FACING STRAIGHT AHEAD
3. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL

CAUTION: Wait for 90 seconds after disconnecting the cable to prevent airbag deployment  See: Body and Frame/Interior Moulding
/ Trim/Dashboard / Instrument Panel/Air Bag(s) Arming and Disarming/Service and Repair.
NOTE: When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected.  See: Testing and
Inspection/Programming and Relearning/Repair Instruction - Initialization

4. REMOVE LOWER NO. 3 STEERING WHEEL COVER See: Restraint Systems/Air Bag Systems/Air Bag/Service and Repair/Steering

Pad/Removal

5. REMOVE LOWER NO. 2 STEERING WHEEL COVER See: Restraint Systems/Air Bag Systems/Air Bag/Service and Repair/Steering

7. REMOVE STEERING WHEEL ASSEMBLY See: Steering and Suspension/Steering/Steering Wheel/Service and Repair/Removal

8. REMOVE STEERING COLUMN COVER See: Steering and Suspension/Steering/Steering Column/Service and Repair/Removal

9. REMOVE TURN SIGNAL SWITCH ASSEMBLY WITH SPIRAL CABLE SUB-ASSEMBLY See: Steering and Suspension/Steering/Steering

10. REMOVE INSTRUMENT CLUSTER FINISH PANEL ASSEMBLY See: Instrument Panel, Gauges and Warning Indicators/Instrument Cluster /
