1. Raise and support rear of vehicle, then remove tire and wheel assembly.
2. Check pad thickness through caliper inspection hole and replace pads if measured thickness is less than .039 inch.
3. Remove caliper sliding main pin and sliding sub pin, Fig. 5.
4. Remove brake caliper and suspend it so hose is not stretched. Do not disconnect brake hose.
5. Remove brake pads, anti-squeal shim, support plates and pad wear indicators, Fig. 5.
6. Reverse procedure to install. Tighten caliper sliding main pin and sliding sub pin to specifications.
