Wiper Motor: Service and Repair
Rear Wiper Motor
1.
Obtain audio anti-theft code, if equipped, as outlined in Technician Safety Information.
2.
On all models, disconnect battery ground cable.
3.
Remove wiper arm and rear door trim cover.
4.
On RAV4 models, remove service hole cover.
5.
Disconnect wiper motor wire connector.
6.
Remove wiper motor bracket attaching bolts and wiper motor and bracket.
7.
Reverse procedure to install. Reset audio coded anti-theft system, if equipped, as outlined under Technician Safety Information.
