3. Remove lateral control rod from frame by removing the nut, bolt and lateral control rod.

Installation Note:  Torque bolt to 171 Nm (127 ft. lbs.)

NOTE:  After stabilizing the suspension, torque the bolt.

LATERAL CONTROL ROD BUSHING REPLACEMENT

1. Remove the bushing by using the 09710 - 22042 (09710- 02051,09710 - 02071), 09950-70010 (09951 -07150) SSTs and a press to remove the

bushing from the lateral control rod.

2. Install the bushing by using the  09710 - 22042 (09710 - 02051,09710 - 02071) SSTs and a press, install a new bushing into the lateral control rod,

do not use a lubricant when pressing in the bushing.

3. Installation is in the reverse order of removal.
