8. Install bearing outer race.

Using SST 09316-60011 (09316-00011, 09316-00021) and a hammer, install the bearing outer race.

9. Install front bearing.

10. Install oil slinger and new oil seal.

a. Install the oil slinger.
b. Coat the hypoid gear oil to a new oil seal periphery.

c. Using SST 09214-76011 and a hammer, install a new oil seal.  

Oil seal drive in depth: 0.5 mm (0.020 inch) 

d. Coat the MP grease to the oil seal lip.

11. Install companion flange.

a. Using SST 09950-30010 (09951-03010, 09953-03010, 09954-03010, 09955-03030, 09956-03040), install the companion flange on the drive

pinion. 

b. Coat the threads of a new nut with hypoid gear oil LSD.

c. Using SST 09330-00021 to hold the flange, install the nut.

Torque: 245 Nm (181 ft. lbs.) 

12. Adjust drive pinion preload.
