Removal

LIGHTING (EXT): LICENSE PLATE LIGHT ASSEMBLY: REMOVAL

1. REMOVE BACK DOOR CENTER GARNISH   See: Body and Frame/Doors, Hood and Trunk/Trunk / Liftgate/Service and Repair/Disassembly

2. REMOVE BACK DOOR SIDE GARNISH LH   See: Body and Frame/Doors, Hood and Trunk/Trunk / Liftgate/Service and Repair/Disassembly

3. REMOVE BACK DOOR SIDE GARNISH RH   See: Body and Frame/Doors, Hood and Trunk/Trunk / Liftgate/Service and Repair/Disassembly

4. REMOVE BACK DOOR TRIM BOARD ASSEMBLY   See: Body and Frame/Doors, Hood and Trunk/Trunk / Liftgate/Service and

Repair/Disassembly

5. REMOVE BACK DOOR OUTSIDE HANDLE SUB-ASSEMBLY   See: Body and Frame/Doors, Hood and Trunk/Trunk / Liftgate/Service and

Repair/Disassembly

6. REMOVE BACK DOOR LOCK CYLINDER ASSEMBLY   See: Body and Frame/Doors, Hood and Trunk/Trunk / Liftgate/Service and

Repair/Disassembly

7. REMOVE BACK DOOR OUTSIDE GARNISH SUB-ASSEMBLY   

8. REMOVE LICENSE PLATE LIGHT ASSEMBLY

(a) Disconnect the connector.

(b) Disengage the 2 claws and remove the license plate light assembly.

9. REMOVE LICENSE PLATE LIGHT BULB

(a) Turn the license plate light bulb and the license plate light socket in the direction indicated by the arrow and remove them as a license plate

light lens.

(b) Remove the license plate light bulb from the license plate light socket.
