Backup Lamp Switch: Service and Repair
Installation

C59 MANUAL TRANSMISSION / TRANSAXLE: BACK-UP LIGHT SWITCH: INSTALLATION

1. INSTALL BACK-UP LIGHT SWITCH ASSEMBLY

(a) Using SST, install the back-up light switch and a new gasket to the transaxle case.

SST : 09817-16011

Torque : 40 Nm (410 kgf-cm, 30 ft-lbf)

(b) Install the 2 clamps.

NOTICE:
Be sure to use boss B.

(c) Connect the back-up light switch connector.

2. CONNECT TRANSMISSION CONTROL SHIFT CABLE

(a) Connect the transmission control shift cable with the clip*1.

(b) Connect the transmission control shift cable with a new clip*2.

5. INSTALL NO. 2 CYLINDER HEAD COVER   See: Engine, Cooling and Exhaust/Engine/Service and Repair/Removal and Replacement/Engine
