The previous TSB should be discarded.

Introduction

Some 2003 - 2006 model year Matrix vehicles are equipped with a compass in the rear view mirror. Use the following procedure to complete initial
calibration of the compass during the ROAD TEST section of Pre-Delivery Service (PDS).

Compass Calibration Procedure

1. Turn the ignition switch to the "ON" position and check that the direction (N, NE, E, SE, S, SW, W,  NW) or "C" appears on the compass display.
