Three Way Catalytic Converter: Service and Repair
Main Converter

1.

Disconnect negative battery cable.

2.

Remove engine under covers.

3.

Remove front exhaust pipe.

4.

Disconnect main oxygen sensor connector.

5.

Disconnect sub oxygen sensor on CA models.

Converter Stay

6.

Remove two bolts, two nuts and converter stay.

Converter Removal And Installation

7.

Remove three bolts, two nuts, converter, gasket, retainer and cushion.

8.

Remove eight bolts and two heat insulators from converter.

Converter Heat Insulators

1.

Install two heat insulators to new converter with eight bolts.
