Brake Caliper: Service and Repair
Removal and Installation

1.

Raise and support vehicle and remove wheel and tire assembly.

2.

Remove union bolt and disconnect brake line.

3.

Remove two attaching bolts and the caliper from torque plate.

4.

Remove brake pads, anti-squeal shims, pad wear indicator plates and support plates.

5.

Reverse procedure to install, torquing union bolt to 22 ft. lbs.
