Air Bag Deactivation Indicator: Testing and Inspection
INSPECT PASSENGER AIRBAG MANUAL ON-OFF INDICATOR OPERATION
a. Remove the heater control assembly.
b. Check that continuity exists between terminals 2 and 5.
c. Connect the positive (+) lead from the battery to terminal 2 and negative (-) lead to terminal 5.
d. Check that the indicator light lights up.
If the operation is not as specified, replace the heater control assembly.

Reinstall the heater control assembly.
