Oil Pump: Service and Repair
Oil Pump Replace

1.

Remove valve cover.

2.

Remove accessory drive belts, fan and fan pulley.

3.

Remove crankshaft pulley.

4.

Remove timing gear cover and belt guide.

5.

Remove water pump and timing belt case.

6.

Remove oil pump plate, oil pump driven gear and drive gear from timing belt case.

7.

Reverse procedure to install. Refer to Fig. 17 for proper gear alignment.
