Voltage Signal: Testing and Inspection
1. Locate the switch on the side of the transfer case, unscrew the switch, disconnect the wire connector and remove the switch.
2. Using an Ohmmeter, check that there is continuity when the switch pin is depressed.
Testing 4WD Switch
3. There should be NO continuity when the switch pin is out.
4. If a problem is found, replace the Four Wheel Drive Switch.
5. Reinstall the switch and reconnect the connector.
