Thermal Vacuum Valve: Testing and Inspection

1.

Drain coolant, disconnect hoses noting position of each hose, then remove valve.

2.

With valve below operating temperature specified in description, ensure vacuum source port is blocked from operating ports.

3.

With valve temperature within range specified in description, ensure that vacuum source port is connected to operating ports, but not connected to
atmospheric vent port, if equipped.

4.

With valve temperature above operating temperature specified in description, ensure that vacuum source port is blocked or connected to
atmospheric vent port, as equipped.
