Float Level
1.
Invert air horn and allow float to hang by its own weight.
2.
Measure clearance between float tip and air horn.
3.
If clearance is not within specifications, adjust by bending float arm at point A, Fig. 5.

FLOAT DROP
1.
Raise float until float arm stop contacts pivot boss.
2.
On all except 22R engines, measure clearance between needle valve plunger and float tab.
3.
On 22R engines measure clearance between tip of float and air horn gasket surface.
4.
If clearance is not within specifications, bend float arm stop, Fig. 6, as needed to obtain proper clearance.
