After transmission is to operating temperature, check fluid level and add as necessary.

Flat Rate Time Guidelines

The following guidelines are provided for the procedures described above:

Required:

-

Assemble and install air-cooled oil cooler                         0.3 hr

-

Remove and reinstall front bumper                                  0.7 hr

-

Remove and reinstall radiator grille                               0.3 hr

Total

1.3 hr

Optional:

-

Drill two additional holes in radiator upper support               0.1 hr

-

Drill two additional holes in front crossmember                    0.1 hr

-

Scrape radiator grille, if interfered                              0.1 hr

-

Remove and replace oil cooler by-pass valve spring                 2.0 hr

-

Remove and replace oil cooler tube                                 0.5 hr

-

Remove and replace A/C liquid tube                                 0.8 hr

Additional - up to

3.6 hr

Maximum Total

4.9 hr

Actual time must be recorded on the Repair Order and should range between 1.3 hr. and 4.9 hrs. as noted above.

When the oil cooler kit is installed as part of a warrantable transmission repair, all parts and labor must be requested on the same claim:

Opcode:

Standard opcode for transmission repair

Time:

Standard time for transmission repair (per flat rate manual) plus

Z-time for oil cooler kit installation (using guidelines above)
