REMOVAL 

1.

Disarm airbag system, refer to MAINTENANCE PROCEDURES/AIRBAG ARMING & DISARMING.

2.

Remove fluid coupling with cooling fan as follows:

a.  Remove A/C air intake duct.
b.  Remove fan shroud.
c.  Hold belt down, then loosen nuts of coupling.
d.  Remove fluid coupling with cooling fan.

Remove alternator and A/C belts by loosening respective adjusting bolts and pushing alternator and/or A/C compressor as far as possible, then
