Fuel Pressure: Testing and Inspection

1. Check that battery voltage is at least 12 volts.
2. Disconnect battery negative terminal and the wiring connector from the cold start injector.
3. Remove the RH engine access cover:

a. Remove the three screws and the scuff plate from the passenger seat

b. Remove the bolt and disconnect the passenger seat belt from the front floor panel
c. Remove the four bolts and passenger seat
d. Remove the two bolts and the passenger seat leg

e. Remove the two bolts and the jack holder
f.

Remove the nine bolts and the RH engine access cover

4. Place a suitable container under the fuel inlet line and remove the fuel inlet line from the fuel rail.  Use caution if the fuel system is still under

pressure.
