Removing The Fuel Pressure Regulator

INSTALLATION:

1. Apply a light coat of gasoline to a new O-ring and install it to the pressure regulator.

2. Install the FPR with the two bolts taking care to properly position the FPR to the fuel rail as illustrated.

3. Torque the two bolts to 4.0 ft.lbs (5.4 N-m).
4. Reconnect the fuel return line.
5. Reconnect the vacuum sensing line and clamp.
6. Using a service wire, short the +B and FP terminals of the service check connector.

7. Turn the ignition on WITHOUT starting the engine.
8. Check for fuel leaks.
9. Turn the ignition off and remove the service wire.
