SLIDING DOOR GLASS RATTLING ON PREVIA

To reduce the possibility of rattles from the sliding door glass of Previas, the following changes have been made.

1.)

The seat material has been changed from rubber to sponge rubber and enlarged in
diameter and thickness.

2.)

The tightening torque of the retaining nuts has been increased from 80 to 105 kg-cm
(5.8 to 7.6 ft.lb.)

3.)

Locktite has been added to the threads of the nuts.

The modified seat will be supplied with the sliding door glass assembly and the part number of the assembly remains unchanged.

FIELD FIX:

When repairing a vehicle which has loose sliding door glass retaining nuts or rattles, it is usually not necessary to replace the entire assembly. Instead,
perform the following steps:
