Radiator: Service and Repair
Removal and Installation
REMOVAL
1. REMOVE A/C AIR INTAKE DUCT
Remove the six screws and A/C air intake duct.
2. REMOVE NO.1 ENGINE UNDER COVER
3. DRAIN COOLANT
4. (A/T) DISCONNECT A/T COOLER HOSES
HINT:
-
Be careful as some oil will leak. Catch it in a suitable container.

Plug the pipe to prevent oil from escaping.
5. DISCONNECT RADIATOR OUTLET HOSE
6. DISCONNECT RADIATOR INLET AND RESERVOIR HOSES
7. REMOVE NO.1 AND NO.2 RADIATOR FAN SHROUDS
(a) Remove the four bolts and No.2 fan shroud.
(b) Remove the two bolts and No.1 fan shroud.
HINT: Leave No.1 fan shroud on vehicle.
