(If modified fan shroud and shroud seal were not yet installed, perform the following steps, and if those were already installed, skip to the step
No. 24.)

22. Affix fan shroud seal to the back surface of the radiator upper tank as shown in the illustration.

Note:

If a new radiator with shroud seal has been installed, this step should be omitted.

Change original fan shroud for modified one.

Together with the modified cooling fan and coupling, place modified fan shroud No. 1 over the radiator, and install its lower
edge onto the two supports at the radiator lower tank and fasten the upper portion to the radiator upper tank with two bolts.

Note:

Leave cooling fan and coupling inside the fan shroud No. 1.

Reinstall the radiator lower hose (and A/T cooler hose) into clamps at the right lower portion of fan shroud No. 1.

Connect reservoir and radiator upper hoses to the radiator upper tank.

27.

Connect both positive and negative battery cables to the battery.

Note:

Remember to reprogram the preset radio stations and to reset the clock.

28.

Install fluid coupling together with cooling fan with four nuts.

First install and tighten the nuts that are accessible from the top.

(2)

Crank the engine very briefly to rotate the fan hub assembly and gain access to the remaining nuts.

(3)

Tighten the remaining nuts.
