CHILD SAFETY SEAT REAR FLOOR ANCHOR LOCATIONS

INTRODUCTION:

Some Child Safety Seats recommend the use of a tether strap to anchor the top of the safety seat to a secure point in the vehicle. To enable installation of
this type of child safety seat in a Previa, Toyota has provided four (4) locations in the floor behind the center and the rear seats. There are four (4) holes
drilled in the floor allowing access to the anchor nuts welded beneath the floor. To locate the anchor points for installation of child safety seat tether
straps, follow the instructions below.

LOCATING FLOOR ANCHOR HOLES:

Fold-up and stow both rear seats against the sides of the vehicle using the rear seat stowing straps.

Carefully pull the edges of the carpeting out from underneath the carpet trim panels (located around the perimeter of the carpeting).
