2. (4WD) REMOVE DRIVE SHAFT LOCK NUT.

a. Remove the cotter pin and lock cap. 
b. While applying the brakes, remove the lock nut.
c. Remove the washer.

3. DISCONNECT STABILIZER BAR LINK FROM SHOCK ABSORBER. Remove the nut and disconnect the stabilizer bar link from the shock

absorber.

4. (w/ABS) REMOVE SPEED SENSOR.

5. DISCONNECT BRAKE HOSES FROM SHOCK ABSORBER.

a. Using SST, remove the brake tube. SST 09751-36011.
b. Remove the two clips and disconnect the brake hoses from the shock absorber.

6. LOOSEN THE TWO NUTS ON LOWER SIDE OF SHOCK ABSORBER. HINT: Do not remove the bolts.
