Clutch Pedal Assembly: Adjustments

Measure clutch pedal height as shown, Fig. 1.

2.

Clutch pedal height should be 6.46 inch.

3.

If clutch pedal height is not as specified, loosen clutch pedal locknut, then rotate stopper bolt until specified height is achieved.

Tighten locknut.

5.

Measure pushrod play at top of pedal. If pushrod play is not .04-.20 inch, loosen locknut and rotate pushrod until freeplay is as specified. Tighten
locknut.

6.

Check clutch pedal freeplay by depressing clutch pedal until resistance is felt. Freeplay should be .20-.59 inch.

7.

If necessary to adjust freeplay, loosen locknut and rotate pushrod until freeplay is as specified.

8.

Tighten locknut.

9.

Ensure clutch pedal height and freeplay are as specified.
