Remove Installation Bolt And Caliper
Remove the installation bolts and Caliper.
Torque 36 Nm (27 ft. lbs.)
3. Remove these parts:
(a) 2 anti-rattle springs.
(b) 2 Brake Pads with anti-squeal shims.
(c) 4 pad support plates.
CAUTION: There should be no oil or grease adhering to the friction surfaces of the pads or Disc.
Remove Sliding Bushing And Dust Boot
DISASSEMBLY
1. Remove sliding bushing and dust boot assembly.
ASSEMBLY CAUTION: Ensure that the boot is secured firmly to the sliding bushing groove.
2. Remove main pin boot.
Remove Main Pin Boot
Using a chisel and hammer, tap out the boot.
ASSEMBLY CAUTION: Ensure that the boot is secured firmly to the sliding bushing groove.
ASSEMBLY NOTE: Use a 22 mm socket wrench and tap in a new main pin boot into the caliper.
3. Remove cylinder boot set ring and cylinder boot.
