Wheel Cylinder: Service and Repair
Rear Drum Brake Components
REMOVAL
1. Remove wheel and tire.
2. Remove brake drum and brake shoes.
Disconnect Brake Line
3. Disconnect brake line from Wheel Cylinder.

Using SST, disconnect the brake line. Use a container to catch the brake fluid. SST 09751 - 36011
Torque 15 Nm (11 ft. lbs.)
4. Remove Wheel Cylinder.

Remove the 2 bolts and the wheel cylinder.
Torque 10 Nm (7 ft. lbs.)
Overhaul
1. Remove these parts from the Wheel Cylinder.

2 boots.
-
2 pistons.
-
2 piston cups sprint.
2. Assemble in reverse order.
