Fuel Pump Resistor: Testing and Inspection

FUEL PUMP RESISTOR INSPECTION

1. Disconnect fuel pump resistor connector.

2. Inspect fuel pump resistor. 

Using an ohmmeter, measure the resistance between the terminals. 
Resistance: At 20° C (68° F): 0.58 - 0.70 ohms
If the resistance is not as specified, remove the air cleaner case and replace the resistor.

3. Reconnect fuel pump resistor connector.
