The middle bracket lower outboard attachment hole is no longer required for attachment as shown in figure 2.

Drill a 1/4" hole midway between the existing bottom and middle attachment holes in the rear bracket as shown in figure 3.

Coat the new hole with an anti-corrosive coating, such as Tectyl or 3M Pro Autobody sealant.

5.

Install the rear bracket according to the installation instructions enclosed in the kit.
