Supercharger Air Control Valve: Component Tests and General Diagnostics

1. Remove air control valve.
2. Inspect air control valve.

Inspect air control valve for open circuit.

Using an ohmmeter, check that there is continuity between the terminals.

Resistance:  30 - 34 ohms at 20°C (68°F)

If there is no continuity, replace the air control valve.

-

Inspect air control valve for ground.

-

Using an ohmmeter, check that there is no continuity between each terminal and the body.

-

If there is continuity, replace the air control valve.

-

Inspect air control valve operation.
