Align the cut out of the coupling with the groove of the distributor housing.

Apply a light coat of the engine oil on the 0-ring.

Insert the distributor, aligning the center of the distributor housing flange with the bolt hole on the cylinder head.

Tighten the hold-down bolts.

Torque: 19 Nm (14 ft.lb) 

3. Install dust proof packing and distributor cap.

Apply seal packing to the distributor housing as shown in the illustration.

Seal packing:  Part No. 08826-00080 or equivalent 

4. Connect 2 air hoses.
5. Connect distributor connector.
6. Connect high-tension cords to distributor cap.

Firing order:  1 - 3 - 4 - 2  

7. Connect negative (-) terminal cable to battery.

INSPECT TIMING 

1. Warm up engine to normal operating temperature.

2. Connect tachometer.
