Water Pump: Service and Repair
Hybrid Drive Water Pump

REMOVAL

1. DRAIN HV COOLANT
2. REMOVE FRONT BUMPER COVER
3. REMOVE LH HEAT LIGHT

4. REMOVE HV WATER PUMP

a. Disconnect the connector for HV water pump.
b. Disconnect the 2 water hoses from the HV water pump.
c. Remove the 2 bolts and HV water pump.

INSTALLATION

1. INSTALL HV WATER PUMP

a. Install the HV water pump with the 2 bolts.

Torque: 7.0 N.m (70 kgf.cm, 62 in.lbf)

b. Connect the 2 water hoses.
c. Connect the connector for HV water pump.

2. INSTALL LH HEAD LIGHT
3. INSTALL FRONT BUMPER COVER
4. FILL WITH HV COOLANT
