4. DISCONNECT ABS SPEED SENSOR CONNECTOR

5. REMOVE AXLE HUB ASSEMBLY

a. Remove the automatic adjusting lever, shoe adjuster and adjusting lever spring.
b. Remove the 4 bolts and axle hub assembly.
c. Support the rear brake assembly securely.

INSTALLATION 

1. INSTALL AXLE HUB ASSEMBLY

a. Install the axle hub assembly with the 4 bolts.

Torque: 52 Nm (525 kgf-cm, 38 ft. lbs.) 

b. Install the automatic adjusting lever, shoe adjuster and adjusting lever spring.

2. CONNECT ABS SPEED SENSOR CONNECTOR TO AXLE HUB ASSEMBLY 
3. CHECK BEARING BACKLASH AND AXLE HUB DEVIATION
4. INSTALL BRAKE DRUM
5. INSTALL REAR WHEEL

Torque: 103 Nm (1,050 kgf-cm, 76 ft. lbs.) 

6. CHECK ABS SPEED SENSOR SIGNAL

Disassembly and Reassembly

DISASSEMBLY 

REMOVE ABS SPEED SENSOR 
a. Using a pin punch and hammer, drive out the 2 pins and remove the 2 attachments from SST. 

SST 09520-00031 (09520-00040, 09521-00020)
