Liftgate Window Glass: Service and Repair
Removal

WINDOW / GLASS: BACK DOOR GLASS: REMOVAL

1. REMOVE UPPER BACK DOOR TRIM PANEL ASSEMBLY   See: Service and Repair/Disassembly

2. REMOVE BACK DOOR SIDE GARNISH RH   See: Service and Repair/Disassembly

3. REMOVE BACK DOOR SIDE GARNISH LH   See: Service and Repair/Disassembly

4. REMOVE BACK DOOR TRIM BOARD ASSEMBLY   See: Service and Repair/Disassembly

5. REMOVE BACK DOOR TRIM BOARD   See: Service and Repair/Disassembly

6. REMOVE REAR SPOILER ASSEMBLY   See: Spoilers, Flaps, and Air Dams/Spoiler/Service and Repair/Removal

7. REMOVE REAR WIPER ARM HEAD CAP (w/ Rear Wiper)

(a) for Back Door Glass:

(1) Remove the rear wiper arm head cap    See: Wiper and Washer Systems/Wiper Motor/Service and Repair/Rear Wiper Motor/Removal.

8. REMOVE REAR WIPER ARM AND BLADE ASSEMBLY (w/ Rear Wiper)

(a) for Back Door Glass:

(1) Remove the rear wiper arm and blade assembly    See: Wiper and Washer Systems/Wiper Motor/Service and Repair/Rear Wiper

Motor/Removal.

9. REMOVE REAR WIPER MOTOR GROMMET (w/ Rear Wiper)

(a) for Back Door Glass:

(1) Remove the rear wiper motor grommet    See: Wiper and Washer Systems/Wiper Motor/Service and Repair/Rear Wiper Motor/Removal.

10. REMOVE REAR WIPER MOTOR ASSEMBLY (w/ Rear Wiper)

(a) for Back Door Glass:

(1) Remove the rear wiper motor assembly    See: Wiper and Washer Systems/Wiper Motor/Service and Repair/Rear Wiper Motor/Removal.

11. REMOVE BACK DOOR GLASS

(a) Disconnect the 2 connectors.

(b) Apply protective tape to the outer surface of the vehicle body to prevent scratches.
