Ignition Switch: Service and Repair
Removal

2ZR-FXE STARTING: POWER SWITCH: REMOVAL

1. REMOVE REAR NO. 2 FLOOR BOARD (for Separate Type)   See: Body and Frame/Interior Moulding / Trim/Headliner/Service and

Repair/Removal and Replacement/Removal

2. REMOVE REAR DECK FLOOR BOX   See: Body and Frame/Interior Moulding / Trim/Headliner/Service and Repair/Removal and

Replacement/Removal

3. REMOVE REAR NO. 3 FLOOR BOARD   See: Body and Frame/Interior Moulding / Trim/Headliner/Service and Repair/Removal and

Replacement/Removal

4. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL

NOTICE:
When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected    See: Testing and
Inspection/Programming and Relearning.

5. REMOVE INTEGRATION CONTROL AND PANEL ASSEMBLY   See: Body and Frame/Interior Moulding / Trim/Dashboard / Instrument

6. REMOVE LOWER CENTER INSTRUMENT CLUSTER FINISH PANEL SUB-ASSEMBLY   See: Body and Frame/Interior Moulding /

Trim/Dashboard / Instrument Panel/Service and Repair/Removal and Replacement/Upper Instrument Panel/Removal

7. REMOVE INSTRUMENT CLUSTER FINISH PANEL GARNISH   See: Body and Frame/Interior Moulding / Trim/Dashboard / Instrument

8. REMOVE UPPER INSTRUMENT PANEL FINISH PANEL SUB-ASSEMBLY   See: Body and Frame/Interior Moulding / Trim/Dashboard /

9. REMOVE POWER SWITCH

(a) Detach the 2 claws and remove the power switch.
