NOTE: 

Remove and replace both Front Door Lock Assemblies (RH and LH) when performing this Service Repair Procedure.

1.

Remove interior door trim panel. (Refer to Repair Manual, Page BO-12 and BO-13 for detailed procedures.)

2.

Remove inside door handle (2 screws).

3.

Remove the (3) door latch attaching screws (Repair Manual pg. BO-13).

4.

Slide door latch mechanism forward to gain access to door opening wire cable end.

5.

Replace door opening wire cable.

6.

Attach plastic door lock plastic shield using tie wrap.

NOTE: 

Removal of the latch assembly is required to install the Tie Wrap and Door Lock Plastic Shield.

7.

Reinstall interior door trim panel.
