Introduction

On some 1997 and 1998 RAV4 vehicles customers may experience a vibration noise coming from the right or left front fender. To eliminate the
condition EPT-sealer has been added to the fender liner.

Wind Noise Kit (EPT-sealer)

Production Change Information

Repair Procedure

1.

Test drive the vehicle and identify which side (RH or LH) the vibration noise is coming from.

2.

Remove the affected Front Fender Liner.

3.

Cut EPT-Sealer into strips (L: 70 mm W: 10 mm, H: 5 mm).

4.

Add EPT-sealer to the Fender Liner as shown.
