(b) Using a union nut wrench (10 mm), connect the 6 brake lines to the correct locations on the actuator, as shown in the illustration.

without union nut wrench - Torque: 15 Nm (155 kgf-cm, 11 ft-lbf)
with union nut wrench - Torque: 14 Nm (145 kgf-cm, 10 ft-lbf)

HINT:
-

Use a torque wrench with a fulcrum length of 300 mm (11.8 in.).

This torque value is effective when the union nut wrench is parallel to the torque wrench.

3. CONNECT CONNECTOR

(a) Connect the connector and push the lock lever downward.

5. BLEED AIR FROM BRAKE MASTER CYLINDER See: Brake Bleeding/Service and Repair
6. BLEED AIR FROM BRAKE LINE See: Brake Bleeding/Service and Repair
7. BLEED AIR FROM ABS AND TRACTION ACTUATOR ASSEMBLY See: Brake Bleeding/Service and Repair
8. CHECK BRAKE FLUID LEVEL IN RESERVOIR See: Brake Fluid/Service and Repair
9. INSPECT FOR BRAKE FLUID LEAK

10. INSTALL AIR CLEANER CASE SUB-ASSEMBLY (for 2AR-FE)

(a) Install the air cleaner case See: Engine, Cooling and Exhaust/Engine/Service and Repair/Removal and Replacement/Engine

11. INSTALL AIR CLEANER CASE (for 2GR-FE)

(a) Install the air cleaner case See: Engine, Cooling and Exhaust/Engine/Service and Repair/Removal and Replacement/Engine

Assembly/Installation.

12. CONNECT CABLE TO NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL
13. CHECK ABS AND TRACTION ACTUATOR ASSEMBLY WITH TECHSTREAM

(a) Check the ABS and traction actuator with the Techstream See: Testing and Inspection.
